ABOUT
Antonella Molinaro is an associate professor of Telecommunications at the University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria, where she served as Chair of the undergraduate program in Information Engineering. She is also a professor at University of Paris-Saclay CentralèSupelèc. She has been assistant professor at University of Messina, and then at University of Calabria. She joined Siemens A.G., Munich, Germany, as a CEC fellow within the RACE (Research into Advanced Communications in Europe) II mobility action. She serves in the editorial board of international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Communication Letters, IEEE Open Journal of the Vehicular Technology, Computer Networks, etc. Her research activity focuses on wireless and mobile networking, vehicular communications, future Internet. She has published more than 300 papers, some of them awarded, in conference proceedings, journals and books; she is editor of the book “Vehicular ad hoc Networks: Standards, Solutions, and Research”, Springer. She is co-founder of SMARTS s.r.l., a spin-off of the University Mediterranea and an innovative start-up.
