Luca Attias graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University “Sapienza,” Rome and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Business Engineering at the University of Tor Vergata, Rome.
Since 2010, he is Director General and Head of the IT Department of the Italian Court of Auditors; in this capacity, he has transformed the Court of Auditors in one of the most digitally advanced administration within the Italian public sector. The introduction of innovative technologies combined with a rigorous project management approach and processes re-organization made the digitisation of the Court of Auditors a success-case and model for other administrations.
Before, Luca worked at DATAMAT for several years.
Luca’s skills combine IT knowledge with managerial expertise; he is a true believer and an evangelist for the widespread diffusion and adoption of digital culture in the public sector.
His commitment and dedication gained him important recognition; he achieved great popularity with his interviews and lectures on how digital technologies can transform project management, enhance meritocracy and HR management, and help the fight against corruption.
His teaching experience is vast; he has taught numerous courses on topics such as the digitisation of the Italian public sector, e-skills, reengineering of public sector processes at various academic institutions: SNA (National School for Public Administration); LUISS – Guido Carli, etc.
