Biography
Daniel Ross is the head of the Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Rome since August 2019. Prior to this position, he was the Science Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia. In Washington, DC he has worked in the Department of State’s Office of Intellectual Property and Competition and as a Trade Negotiator at the U.S. Trade Representative’s office. Abroad he has held positions working on economic issues in Iraq, Egypt, and Greece.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Daniel has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Michigan State University and a master’s in National Security Strategy from the U.S. Naval War College.
