Giovanni Ferigo

Born in Udine on 12 July 1959, he graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Padua.

Since 13 April 2018 he has been Managing Director of INWIT.

In July 2016 he became Head of the Technology Department at Telecom Italia S.p.A.

Since 2015 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Persidera S.p.A.

From 2005 to 2016, following the merger of Tim S.p.A. into Telecom Italia S.p.A., he held increasing responsibilities in the area of technology. He first became Head of Network Quality Assurance and was subsequently appointed Head of Delivery Services Operations (2008) within the Open Access function, Head of Operations Governance (2009), Head of Engineering & Access Network Development (2011), Head of Network Development, Operations & Governance (2012), Head of Network (2014).

In August 1998 he joined Telecom Italia Mobile S.p.A. where he was in charge of the Operations line in the Network Area and later became CTO at Amena, the third Spanish mobile operator.
