Gianmatteo Manghi Cisco Italia Managing Director since April 2021.

His professional journey with Cisco started in 2000, after previous experiences in Ericsson – where he also held the role of co-responsible for a joint-venture project with an American consulting and internet solutions development company – and in Digital Equipment.

At Cisco, Gianmatteo covered several management positions in the sales area: he was Regional Sales Manager for the Alternative Service Providers segment and, starting from 2006, SP Challengers & Media Director for Italy.

From 2009 to 2013, with the role of South Collaboration Sales Director, he led the growth of this segment for Southern European Countries, also managing the integration of the Webex and Tandberg teams, following the acquisition of these two companies by Cisco.

Starting from 2013, for seven years before being appointed as Cisco Italia Managing Director, he covered the role of Commercial Director for Italy, with responsibility for Global, Enterprise and Public Sector Customers.
Gianmatteo Manghi combines his responsibilities at Cisco with a continuous commitment to ICT training.

From 2008 he is partner of Consorzio Elis, a non-profit organization belonging to the Italian network of Cisco Networking Academies focused on training and professional retraining with the aim of bridging the digital skills gap in our country. He is also a Teaching Fellow at LUISS University since 2019.

59 years old, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University, Gianmatteo lives in Rome with his wife and two sons.
