The telecommunications infrastructure, far from being a commodity, is nourished and developed on the basis of research and innovation.
5G&Beyond is a parallel and co-located program with 5G&Co that looks to the future through the eyes of the young researchers and PhD students of the RESTART program that co-organizes the event together with CNIT.
RESTART is a research program funded by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) within the PNRR call for proposals on extended partnerships.
5G&Beyond aims to launch a look at the future of telecommunications with a new format in which some keynote speakers will have the task of stimulating participants to generate ideas and new research directions that are really able to create impact on the industrial world and the scientific community in order to collaboratively generate visions of the future.
The starting point will be given by the RESTART Grand Challenges, a list of the main current research challenges in the telecommunications sector that cross technologies, application areas and methodological approaches, grasping their unifying aspects and the transformative potential of reality.
