Since 2011, she has been working at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy focusing telecommunications sector, where she has held several management positions.

She is currently in charge of the General Directorate for Digital and Telecommunications – Higher Institute of Communications and Information Technology, and coordinates activities concerning network security and quality of services, national and international spectrum coordination, National Frequency Allocation Plan, regulation of satellite networks and orbits, technical and scientific studies and experiments on innovative and digital technologies, Market Surveillance Authority for radio equipment, electronic communication networks and services for public and private use, television and sound broadcasting, and digital literacy for protection of minors.

Her previous professional background was in the private sector, mainly in Mediocredito Centrale, where she was advisor to public administrations
