Biography

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana since December 2020

Chair of the Board of Directors of Grandi Stazioni Rail SpA, wholly subsidiary of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana SpA, with the purpose of requalifying, enhanicng and operate the fourteen most important railyway stations in Italy.

Chair of the Board of Directors of Bluferries Srl, wholly subsidiary of RFI whose corporate purpose are the ferry activities of wheeled vehicles on the Strait of Messina.

Graduated cum laude in Business Administration at the University of “La Sapienza” in Rome, as part of Gruppo FS Italiane she has run managing offices whose relevance has become important since.

She began her career in 1989 working for the consulting firm IZI S.r.l., providing estimates and supervising investments.

In 1995 she started working in TAV S.p.A., at first as Supervisor for the Planning of the project “AV Asse TO-MI-NA e Trasversale MI-Venezia”, and later as Supervisor for the Structuring and Managing of budgeting planning the supervision and the authorization of investment funds of the railway infrastructure.

At the beginning of 2001 she was transferred first to Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A as Supervisor for Budget and Control of Investments, and later, in October, in the young company Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (itself a subsidiary of FS) as Supervisor for Planning and Control of Investments.

From 2008 until December 2020 she served as Chief Financial Officer of RFI SpA, a position that was run by her ad interim until January 2021.

From 2014 to 2017 she served as a member of the Board of FS Sistemi Urbani Srl.

From 2017 to 2020 she served as the Chair of the Board of Ferservizi SpA, a company that is part of Gruppo FS.

In addition in the past she served as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Galleria di Base Del Brennero – Brenner Basistunnel BBT SE, as a member of the Board of Tunnel Ferroviario del Brennero- Società di Partecipazioni S.p.A., of Anas S.p.A, of LFT (Lyon Turin Ferroviarie).
