Roberto Setola is a full professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and Director of the Master’s in Homeland Security and, as of this year, also of the Master’s in Cybersecurity Management.
For over two decades, he has been conducting research in the field of critical infrastructure protection and Operational Technologies cybersecurity, collaborating with major national and international stakeholders.
Currently, he is the coordinator of two research projects co-financed by INAIL on emerging risks and cybersecurity in the process industry (DRIVERS and ICS). Additionally, he is the principal investigator of the PACY grant funded by Google for the development of a cyber security incident management support system for SMEs.
He also collaborates with the Office of the Military Adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on issues related to the new European directive on Critical Infrastructure Resilience and has been appointed as Scientific Adviser by the Italian Navy.
