Massimo Mazzocchini

Massimo Mazzocchini is Deputy General Manager of Huawei Italy since October 2020. He is responsible for developing Huawei Italia’s business through market relations and synergies between the various Business Units, aligning Huawei’s global structures for institutional relations, coordinating cyber security initiatives and developing relations with national stakeholders.

Massimo Mazzocchini has a longstanding career in the technology industry.

He held the role of Vice President for the Mediterranean area, acting as CEO of Nokia Italy for over 5 years.Mazzocchini has over 19 years of experience in the telecommunications sector with extensive expertise in conducting relationships with key clients from countries such as Italy, Cuba, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Malta, Albania, Greece, Cyprus and Israel, and in managing strategic business projects.

Since starting his career at Siemens in 2001, he has held a wide range of roles in areas such as sales – with both business development and partnership responsibilities – and business management.

Born in Rome in 1972, Mazzocchini graduated in Electronic Engineering, specialization in Telecommunications, at the La Sapienza University of Rome. He is married and has one son.
