Roberto Basso

Roberto Basso has been Director of External Affairs and Sustainability at Wind Tre S.p.A. since 23 March 2020.

He began his professional career at Olivetti and continued in the software industry with the listing of Finmatica on the stock exchange. He also worked in marketing research and strategic communication consultancy for companies, institutions and politics and has directed service companies in Italy and France.

He joined the public sector in 2011 and has been Advisor to the Minister for Territorial Cohesion, since 2013 spokesman for the Minister of Economy and Finance, and President of Consip since 2017.

Roberto was born in Lecce, he graduated with honors in Political Science with political-social specialization, he is married and has three children. He is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
